2 tablespoons bacon grease, *
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 medium yellow onion, sliced
4 ounces fresh mushrooms, minced

First of all. Thinly slice the steak, slicing against the grain and leaving the fat on the meat for both flavor and tenderness.
